Dancing With God

When I meditated on the word Guidance,
I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.
I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness,
and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.
When I saw "G": I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i".
"God, "u" and "i" dance."
God, you, and I dance.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday.
May you abide in God, as God abides in you.
Dance together with God, trusting God to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.
This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached.
If God has done anything for you in your life,
please share this message with someone else.
There is no cost but a lot of rewards;
so let's continue to pray for one another.

I lost a lot of sleep last night. Right now, i'm totally confused.

I had a terrible nightmare during the wee hours, which was a tad disturbing. Thank God that it wasn't real and i hope it certainly wouldn't turn from a reel into a reality. As of now, before going into a full swing on my 3rd wish, my 2 impending goals and wishes for 2010 have to be fulfilled first - that would be to step into the workforce and to get back into the driver's seat. It has been a humbling experience thus far; going back to where i first started off in Melbourne - on foot. It's certainly not me to sit down and look around wandering aimlessly. Contrary to some of others' perceptions,  I'd prefer to wake up early, drive to work in corporate suit, tie, leather bag, pressing the lift button and entering with other bankers. I'm certainly missing the good old HSBC days. Alter-ego! Yes, as of now i'm certainly holding back a lot and not letting the cat-out-of-the-bag till i'm financially stable/independent. That explains the nonchalance and ice-old facade on the outside. I hope that explains. I do look forward to the day where im able to share this complete testimony of God's faithfulness of my time in Singapore and the lead-up to my eventual job designation.

Dear Lord,

I still have flaws. Help me eradicate them and mould me according to your image. I am willing and receptive to be taught by you for the better, in Christ.
